Wishing You a Lifetime of Happiness

I designed this card several months ago for a swap I participated in.  Yes, another swap, I think I have a problem.  ;)

When the current Close to My Heart Annual Inspirations catalog came out, this paper pack really stood out to me.  It's called "Pathfinding".  The Fall is my favorite season, so it makes sense that I'd love a paper that has all of the beautiful Autumn colors.  And I love that pop of blue.  You will see that this paper pack has more blue in it in futue posts.

I'm a fan of these cards with all of the different square frames on them, I've made several over the years.  On this card I used the stamp set called "Lifetime of Happiness".  It's full of so many different fun flowers and I tried to use a lot of them on this card.

On some of the squares I stamped the flowers directly to the Colonial White cardstock.  On other squares, I cut out flowers that I had stamped on a separate piece of cardstock. I like to be able to let some of them overlap the individual frames.  And of course I couldn't forget the embellishments.  I added a mix of Brown & Tan Sparkles and Gold Sequins.  I'm really pleased with the finished product.

Here is a closer look at the "Lifetime of Happiness" stamp set.

You can see there are lots of images to choose from in this stamp set.  Thank you for visiting my blog.  You can use the "Contact Me" box on the side bar if you have any questions.

** Note: I'm also listing some of my cards for sale in both my Etsy shop and my Ebay shop.  You can find the links on the sidebar of this blog.  For the next few months the sales will go towards the cost of a school trip to Italy my 15 year old son will be taking next Spring.  Every little bit helps, right?  ;) **
